Had a suggestion (I'm a retired Fabric worker Air Force) use some spray glue on some card board and lay the templets down on the glued side, dry, and cut out… makes a stiffer templet. Use card board about as thick as a pizza box or even a pizza box if you like.

Great video I am looking for a way to build a mechanical ball that moves from side to side. I am building a skeleton pickleball court in my driveway and am trying to figure out how to have a lighted ball the appears to be moving form one side of the court to the other. Any ideas?

Where do you get the Vent motors wires that you have shown coming out of the vent motor (that you are pluging into the wall wart)? what are they called and do those wires come with the purchase of a vent motor? I want to buy the blower motor but the ones that pop up do not have wires sticking out that we can wire up to a wall wart. anyone know this answer? Also in your 2nd demonstration (has green guy with the hat), how did you attach the "Bracket" to the vent motor? does a screw just fit right into the vent motor thing that spins?

How much Volt was the First One?

I'm working on a design for my 30 x 40 basement dark ride. The first few sections will be "some" of the following, mine,underground cavern, jungle, saguaro national forest, a scene with hills covered in wind turbines and then they begin to overload and explode. The last sections will be a Holy house rather than a haunted house, including Paul on the road to Damascus, Jesus healing the crippled man, Jesus walking on water, Jesus ascending into heaven and a cathedral with a pastor giving a sermon. Then on the way out a priest prop, will come out through a door and give his thanks for coming and blessings for the week.

This upload is a timeless classic. It has helped thousands of people from new beginners to experienced prop builders and I for one keep coming back to watch this recording several times a year, every year. Sometimes I come here for inspiration or to get my haunt mojo back and I often come here to pay homage to a great man who helped me so much. He spent a lot of time and effort to help me to make things that I deemed to be out of my skill or knowledgeable zone. I appreciated all Steve did for me and I miss the guy. While I appreciate the time you took to try to explain this, and while I know it's not what you intended, I ended up more confused about pneumatic props than before I watched your video. I had no idea there was so many parts to making a simple prop with this method. While the surprise or scare effect is not as good, I think I will be sticking to motorized props.

There are also voltage regulators that will reduce the voltage on a motor. A keyword to look for is "buck". Basically they do PWM inside and then smooth the voltage to send to the motor. You can get them that will go down to as low as 1.5V.

I want to raise a coffin with a person in it. I'm with the Lions club in Mustang Oklahoma and we put on a haunted house for a fund raiser. This allows us to donate back to our community.

How am I just finding out about this? Awesome idea/product, have always thought about making my own animations but the motion/effects execution part of the equation made it seem daunting. After seeing this video I'm ordering a set today and ill just have to send Spirit Halloween an apology for all the money I won't be spending on their aniatronics going forward.. lol

I cannot get this device to record on ANY of the available tracks. After trying to set up the record feature, as instructed, the transmitter no longer works with the receiver. Please offer advise ASAP. I have a STEM camp demo in a few days.

Are those wiper motors water/weather proof? If not, is it possible to weather proof them?

Anyone have Steve's controller and remote from addicore? I'm not sure what power supply if I use that with pneumatic cylinders
